¡®Made in Japan¡¯ has Entered Zhejiang Yiwu Small Commodities City

On June 30th, Zhejiang Yiwu Small Commodities City opened a new ¡°Japanese Hall¡±.
As the resources of various household supplies for Japanese ¡°100 yen store¡±, Yiwu Small Commodities City is well-known in the industry. After the opening of  ¡°Japanese Hall¡±, it is going to sell special local products from Japan to all the Chinese markets.
The ¡°Japanese Hall¡± is formed through partnership of a Nagoya trade company and local government. It covers a total area of 2750 M2 and there are 13 stores in all. There are around 150 varieties of commodities on sale, including pottery and porcelain, awamori, shochu from Kagoshima Prefecture, Wajima lacquer wares from Ishikawa Prefecture, kitchen knives from Niigata as well as quality merchandise like cosmetics and pearls, etc. It is said that all the commodities are made in Japan.
The wholesale market of Yiwu has around 60000 shops and the wholesale volume of small commodities for daily use is the largest around the world. As a result of the favorable prices, Yiwu market has also attracted quite many buyers from Europe, America and Africa. The ¡°Japanese Hall¡± hopes to open up an outlet to European and American markets at the mean time of entering the Chinese markets.
