The 10th Zhejiang Investment & Trade Symposium and the 7th China International Consumer Goods Fair were closed yesterday. The organization committee held on-line conference to release the achievement yesterday afternoon.

　　According to the statistics, from June 8 to 12, more than 70000 guests from home and abroad visited ZJITS and CICGF, in which 13600 guests were from more than 100 countries and regions.

　　There were 201 projects contracted in this session of ZJITS for foreign capital 3.58 billion USD, 9.1% over the previous session. The investments are mainly focused on electronic and telecommunication device manufacturing, traffic and transportation device manufacturing, metal manufacture, electric, mechanical and equipment manufacturing, retail, public service, tourism service, etc and were mainly from USA, France, Germany, Korea, Japan, etc., total more than 30 countries, and Hong Kong and Taiwan of China. There were 36 organizations from 16 countries and regions and 15 Chinese overseas economic and trade cooperative zones in the International Section.

　　There were 4000 standard booths in CICGF of this session for over 100000 merchandises and 1950 enterprises from foreign countries and regions and 20 provinces, cities and autonomous regions in China. Kohnan Shoji Co., Ltd. of Japan, Metro of Germany, Carrefour of France, Wal-Mart of USA and other international purchasers, total 30 international purchasers, came to the fair for purchase. According to the statistics, the transaction volume was 1.073 billion USD, in which 1.013 billion USD for export. Among the merchandises for export, general merchandise, household electric and electronic product and textile and garment ranked the top 3, sales volume at 457 million USD, 290 million USD and 206 million USD respectively. As far as the regions are concerned, USA, EU and Japan are the top 3 regions with most transaction volume.

　　In addition, ZJITS of this session also held Conference of Introducing Overseas Talents into Zhejiang Province and Zhejiang (Ningbo) Fair of Scientific and Technical Achievement. 226 talent projects reached the cooperative agreement and the scientific and technical achievement transaction volume reached 80 million RMB Yuan.

　　It is also learned that the organization committee of ZJITS and CICGF released news yesterday that the 11th Zhejiang Investment & Trade Symposium and the 8th China International Consumer Goods Fair will be held in Ningbo on June 8, 2009.
