On the 18^th -19^th of June, the Provincial Working Conference of Government Information and Informatization of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation was held in Huzhou City. Wang Feng, the Deputy Secretary General, attended and addressed the meeting on behalf of Huzhou Municipal Government. Chen Rufang, the Deputy Director General of Zhejiang Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation Bureau, gave an important speech at the meeting. More than 80 representatives of Hangzhou Office of the Ministry of Commerce, Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation bureaus of Zhejiang Province as well as right-expanded counties or cities, partial national-level economic development zones, organizations and public institutions under Zhejiang Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation Bureau, etc. attended the meeting.

The meeting delivered the spirit of Information Working Conference of the Ministry of Commerce, summed up the government information and informatization work of provincial foreign trade and economic cooperation system in 2007 and announced and commended the advanced units and persons for government informatization in the field of provincial foreign trade and economic cooperation.

The meeting analyzed current development situation of foreign economic cooperation, foreign investment and foreign trade and demanded a full recognition of importance to well carry out the government information work under new and complex situation. We shall focus on the foreign trade and economic cooperation, keep on improving the quality of government information and make sure the information is quickly released, accurate and refined; we shall further improve the resource integration, enhance daily information maintenance and network security work and speed up the provincial public information service platform and team construction.

The meeting also invited experts from the General Office of Zhejiang Provincial Government to give a specific talk on how to do a good job on the government information.
